Can you legally grow 3 pot plants?

Today's post addresses a rumor that has been making the rounds lately. I was approached recently and asked if it was true that a person could legally grow up to 3 marijuana plants. This was a new one to me, as I wasn't aware that Missouri or Kansas had legalized marijuana growing. A quick check of the statutes shows that......they haven't. So, sorry to disappoint the glaucoma sufferers and Dead heads...maybe next year!

This weeks' DWI tip is for Missouri boaters. It used to be that MO boaters got a free drink over their roadgoing brethren. Until last year, the BAC level for per se DWI in MO was .08 for drivers, and .10 for boaters. No more! Now boaters and drivers alike face per se DWI charges for BAC levels of .08. So when you go to the beach, don't get grounded - use a designated pilot! --Sean.

Whatever your view of this law, it will raise the costs, and the stakes, of getting a DWI in Missouri.
